Blanca Arteche Arbizu

Head of Service ¨Enforcement and SMEs”, EUIPO Observatory

Blanca Arteche joined the Observatory in February 2015 as responsible for the Enforcement Tools and since December 2018 she is managing the Enforcement and SME Service.

Graduated in Business Administration and specialised in Economics, she started her career as consultant working for the EU Commission on communication tools for the Regional Policy Directorate General.

She joined the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) in February 1998 where she has been taking different positions: starting from the work at the cabinet of the Vice-President for Legal Affairs’ (1998-2002), through the work at the at that time External Relations Department of the Office (2002-2006) ending in almost ten years as head of a TM registration service at the Trade Marks Department (2006-2015) before joining the Observatory.
