Blubrake is a Milan-based startup internationally known for having developped the state-of-art ABS (anti-lock braking system) for e-bikes and e-cargo bikes. Blubrake’s technology is widely considered as an upcoming revolution in the biking industry as it addresses rider’s safety by preventing the most common condition for accidents: loss of control while braking. In 2020 it received strong market recognition and signed supply agreements with several market leaders including Cycleurope Group, Bulls, Stromer and others not yet disclosed. Blubrake announced a 5.2M€ Series A in October 2020 and expects to quickly extend its customer range to most of the largest e-bike manufacturers worldwide in 2021.
